1. Booking & Reservations

All charter bookings are subject to availability and confirmation. A deposit may be required at the time of booking to secure your reservation. Full payment is required prior to departure.

2. Cancellation Policy

Guest Cancellations

  • 48+ hours before departure: Full refund
  • 24-48 hours before departure: 50% refund
  • Less than 24 hours / No-show: No refund

Weather Cancellations

If Royal Hawaiian Catamaran cancels a charter due to unsafe weather conditions, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule at no additional charge. The captain has sole discretion to determine if conditions are safe for sailing.

3. Safety Requirements

  • All guests must follow crew instructions at all times
  • Life jackets are provided and must be worn when requested by crew
  • Children under 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult
  • Guests under the influence of drugs or excessive alcohol may be refused boarding without refund
  • No diving from the vessel
  • Swimming is only permitted when the vessel is anchored and crew has given approval

4. Liability Waiver

All guests will be required to sign a liability waiver before boarding. Participation in water activities including swimming, snorkeling, and sailing involves inherent risks. Royal Hawaiian Catamaran, its owners, operators, and crew are not responsible for injuries, loss, or damage to personal property unless caused by gross negligence.

5. Private Charter Terms

  • Maximum capacity is 30 guests - no exceptions
  • Charter times include boarding and disembarking
  • Extensions may be available subject to schedule and additional fees
  • The chartering party is responsible for all guests' behavior

6. Food & Beverages

  • Guests may bring their own food and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Alcoholic beverages are permitted for guests 21+ with valid ID
  • Glass containers are prohibited - please use plastic or cans
  • Catering services available upon request for private charters
  • Coolers with ice are provided on all charters

7. Environmental Responsibility

We are committed to protecting Hawaii's marine environment:

  • Reef-safe sunscreen is strongly encouraged
  • No touching or standing on coral
  • No feeding marine life
  • All trash must be disposed of properly
  • We maintain safe distances from sea turtles and other protected species

8. Photography & Media

Royal Hawaiian Catamaran may take photos or videos during charters for marketing purposes. By boarding our vessel, you consent to the use of your likeness in promotional materials. If you prefer not to be photographed, please notify the crew before departure.

9. Lost & Found

Royal Hawaiian Catamaran is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal belongings. Please secure your valuables. Found items will be held for 30 days.

10. Modifications

Royal Hawaiian Catamaran reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. The terms in effect at the time of booking will apply to your charter.
